Our software practice grew out of the same environments Alamon has supported for decades—complex projects, distributed teams, critical infrastructure, field operations, and the need for accurate, timely information.
When existing tools didn’t fit our needs, we built our own. That experience now informs the solutions we build for customers.
Alamon’s finance team needed faster, more flexible reporting from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Existing tools were cumbersome, slow and difficult to maintain, so Alamon developed its own solution.
Ponderosa Analytics evolved well beyond financial reporting. Today it brings together financial statements, reconciliations, month-end close management, forecasting and valuation, executive dashboards, project and job reporting, automated monitoring and financial analysis in a single platform.
Its Ponder financial assistant also allows authorized users to ask questions about company financial information in plain English, while respecting user permissions and working from actual financial data.
What it demonstrates:
Enterprise-system integration, financial workflows, dashboards and reporting, permissions, automation, auditability and practical AI integration.
Alamon operates multiple business units with different operational needs. Over time, individual departments adopted different project-management platforms and processes. That created disconnected data, duplicated work and limited company-wide visibility.
Friday was developed as a shared operational platform for managing projects, personnel, scheduling, budgeting, financial performance, logistics and cross-functional workflows.
It is continually developed and used every day by Alamon employees across office and field operations.
Friday also serves as a flexible workflow platform, allowing different departments and business units to coordinate requests, information, responsibilities and integrations through one system rather than relying on disconnected applications.
What it demonstrates:
Enterprise workflow design, mobile-enabled operations, resource management, system integration, financial visibility and configurable cross-functional applications.
Alatrac began as a proprietary system developed for Alamon’s Utility Services operation. It combined mobile data collection, GIS, specialized hardware integration and management tools to help distributed field teams collect reliable inspection data while giving managers visibility into work as it happened.
The platform was later offered commercially and licensed to other service providers for use on their own field data collection projects. It supported iOS and Android, Bluetooth-connected field equipment, offline field use, GIS and large-scale datasets.
In 2026, Alamon sold Alatrac to Osmose Utility Services for its innovation program.
What it demonstrates:
