Due to the nature of work performed daily, we believe that It is the responsibility of the company to apply safety guidelines to ensure our employees go home safely. The bullets below outline our efforts to stress safety in the workplace.
Alamon has a safety committee comprised of 5 diverse members to ensure that efforts toward a safer workplace are being implemented.
AlamonU is an online learning management system that allows employees to track and update safety certifications.
“Near Miss” program is a way for employees to report potential hazards so all are aware. This gives the opportunity for us as the employer to review safety practices and provide additional training for our team.
Before work begins on a project our crews have a meeting to walk the site and identify all potential safety threats. In addition, crews partake in daily “Safety Huddles” on jobsites to review potential safety hazards.
Weekly conference calls including managers and their crews for updated hazards,
certification requirements and general safety tips pertaining to the current project.
Participated in the 2017 National Safety Stand-Down for fall protection, sponsored by OSHA. This is our third year as a participant.
Our wireless group has a safety auditing system that includes a dedicated safety auditor that monitors crews randomly and when help is needed to ensure crews are following regulations and policies.
Alamon requires field employees to be CPR & First Aid certified.
We frequently adapt to our customers by acquiring any additional certifications they see necessary.

Environmental Policy
Alamon is committed to managing environmental impact as a part of our operations. We will do so by taking the following steps:
Alamon will add environmental recommendations and strategy suggestions to the tasks asked of our Safety Committee. Recommendations and outcomes will be tracked in monthly meeting notes.
Alamon will use existing communications such as e-newsletters, blogs and key resource emails to notify employees about our environmental efforts and any company policy changes.
Develop and adopt a system to report employees who are not compliant of company policies, and establish guidelines for disciplinary action.
Provide training where necessary through our internally developed system, AlamonU. The goal will be to raise awareness of environmental issues and improve overall company performance. We will track people who complete the training.
Employees of our ESOP company should always be thinking like owners in our attempt to conserve resources. We will properly maintain all equipment and recycle materials/tools whenever possible. (We can compare costs on a yearly basis to confirm we are accomplishing our objective.)
Follow the mandates of applicable federal and state environmental legislation. Track any violations.
Analyze use of resources (fuels, materials, equipment) on a yearly basis to improve unnecessary consumption and search for alternatives. install energy-efficient products wherever possible in our offices to lower our daily footprint. Track and report progress to the board of directors.

Human Trafficking and Anti-Slavery Policy
Alamon has seen a lot of change in our 40+ years in the communications industry, one thing that has always remained the same is our commitment to doing business honestly, ethically, and with respect for people. It is because of this and recent world events that our management has taken the initiative to construct a company policy against human trafficking and slavery.
The following statements outlines the expectations and regulations that all Alamon employees must adhere to. All companies affiliated with Alamon are held to equal standards.
Alamon, Inc. is committed to eliminating slavery and human trafficking in the workplace by following all guidelines of the Modem Slavery Act 2015. Along with following the standards set, we will offer complete transparency within the organization and goods
provided to the company.
As part of Alamon’s due diligence process we will review practices of potential partners before working agreements are made. Alamon will not work with or support any business knowingly in violation of the Modem Slavery Act 2015.
Company Directors and senior management shall assume the responsibility to continually investigating allegations of improper conduct.
