DUAL BENEFIT PROTECTION
ROTBLOC UTL keeps chemical preservatives from migrating from the wood pole into the surrounding soil, while protecting the pole from fungi and bacteria in the soil. This has the dual benefit of maximizing the effectiveness of the chemical in the pole, while dramatically reducing the decay pressure the pole is subjected to. The result is a substantial reduction in pole degradation, reduced ongoing intrusive inspections and remedial treatments, and increased pole service life.

This integrated ROTBLOC UTL feature is an inward facing flange that provides a substantial seal a the top edge. It is designed to maintain contact with the wood utility pole to repel organic debris and help keep it on the outside.
