RUS Bulletin National Decay Zones
What zone are you in? Did you know that the Rural Utility Service’s Bulletin 1730B-121 has established nation-wide climate zones to help Utilities to determine the best pole inspection cycles for their geographic areas? The climate zones take into consideration such things as soil types, annual moisture, temperature and humidity averages….all climate conditions that can lead to wood pole rot and decay.
Alamon Utility Services can help your Co-Op or Municipality develop or maintain your wood pole inspection program in conjunction with these RUS Guidelines. Alamon uses the latest technologies to inspect, maintain, and report on your wood infrastructure. Give us a call or email us to learn more on how we can assist you with keeping your program within the RUS guidelines.
