What is Sound Masking?

Sound masking is the process of adding background sound to reduce noise distractions, protect speech privacy and increase office comfort. The added sound is introduced through speakers installed in the ceiling. It is barely noticeable and sounds similar to airflow.

Sound masking is not white noise. Instead, it is sound that is engineered to match the frequencies of human speech.
