Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are gaining traction as a reliable method for capturing surplus energy during times of high production/low demand and storing it for use during times of low production/high demand.

Some of the benefits that these systems provide are:

• Backup power during extreme weather events
• Cost-effective storage for energy generated by renewables like solar PV or wind farms
• Load leveling and grid support, helping to balance fluctuations in demand and reduce grid congestion
• Peak shaving (charging when rates are low, discharging during the most expensive times of the day)

Alamon Energy Services teams are a great resource for EPC developers of energy projects. We provide in-building and modular container Battery Energy Storage Systems installation services, as well as installation of communications hardware and wiring for monitoring, alarm and control systems.
