Dads Of Great Students
Recently an Alamon employee, Dennis Gesker, had the chance to participate in the Dads Of Great Students (D.O.G.S.) program implemented by Glenda Armstrong the Principal of Elrod Elementary School.
D.O.G.S is a program of the National Center for Fathering. More than 4,049 schools in 46 states that participate in the WATCH D.O.G.S. program, in addition to participation in China, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Barbados.
Who are WatchDOGS? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.
If you live in the Flathead Valley and have a student at Elrod Elementary we recommend you reach out to Principal Armstrong and her staff about becoming involved in the program. Or, reach out to a school in your local area and inquire about the D.O.G.S program!
Alamon is proud to support the efforts of administrators like Principal Armstrong in all of our operating areas!
