The Case of Concrete Encasement

Alamon’s use of the IML-RESI PowerDrill wood boring instrument enables Utility companies to finally get an accurate, non-destructive below ground inspection of wood poles that are encased in concrete or asphalt.

The IML-RESI PD’s on board micro needle bores into the wood pole at groundline, and travels downward through the diameter of the pole, capturing below ground pole conditions of the encased poles…without the costly need to tear out and repair the cement/asphalt.

This process is a huge safety win for Alamon’s wood pole inspection customers. We find the rotten poles that other companies miss with traditional inspection methods.
